PREVENTION OF CHILD ABUSE

April is National Child Abuse Prevention Month as designated by Congress.  Child abuse prevention is the National project for the Exchange Club; it is our responsibility to raise awareness of the problems of physical, mental, and sexual abuse & neglect within our community.  Our goal for April is to educate parents and caregivers of St. Tammany on how to keep their children safe. In raising awareness, we hope to reduce the actual number of incidents of abuse within our community.

Warning: These images are not for the faint of heart. The daring images display the result of child abuse; child abuse that is taking place in our community every day.
